Hello! Coach Kevin here with an update on my Isagenix 9 Day Cleanse. If you've been following my Isagenix journey, you'll recall that Days 1 and 2 were Deep Cleanse Days and went as planned. Days 3 - 7 are referred to as Shake Days during which you consume 2 IsaLean Shakes and 1 healthy, balanced 400-600 calorie meal at lunch or dinner (your choice). You'll also need your purified water and Natural Accelerator Capsules.
I am finishing up Day 4 (my second of 5 Shake Days) and the program is going well. I am something of a shake/smoothie connoisseur, so the IsaLean Shake protein in water just doesn't do it for me. I have been adding a few no and low calorie fruits and spices to my blender shakes. I've used frozen strawberries in one, 1/2 frozen banana in another, and cinnamon and ginger in a third. Tonight I will try a few frozen peach slices. The cinnamon and ginger in the French Vanilla tastes very much like a snicker doodle. If I had some nutmeg and pumpkin pie spice, I would use those as well.
Another trick - I picked up a popsicle mold at the dollar store and I spoon the shake mix into one or two of the molds and stick them in the freezer. Pull one out every hour or two and snack on them. You'll have to run the mold under the faucet to get them to pop out. I look forward to making IsaLean fudgesicles and creamsicles soon.
As I finish up Day 4, I am very impressed with the Isagenix 9 Day Cleanse. At the end of Day 3 I updated my weight and measurements. After 72 hours on the program, I have lost 6.1 pounds, 1 inch from my waist, 1 inch from my chest and 0.6% body fat!
Thanks for your time! I'll keep you updated on my progress and experiences.
