My New Favorite Isagenix Shake Day Meal is quick, easy, relatively inexpensive and after two cleanse days - delicious!
To recap, during your Isagenix 9 Day Deep Cleansing and Fat Burning Program you’ll have two Deep Cleanse Days followed by five Shake Days then two more Cleanse Days.
During the five Shake days, you’ll enjoy two IsaLean Shakes and one 400-600 calorie meal for lunch or dinner. My new favorite Shake Day meal includes a combination of all the pictured ingredients into a delicious Southwest style salad with spicy chicken breast and three to six seriously tasty crackers. Total calories 320-515, depending on the number of crackers, the amount of dressing and if you use one or two slices of cheese on your salad. See below.
Fill a medium sized bowl with salad (yes, I’m lazy and use the prepackaged) - 15 calories.
Add (crumble) 1 slice cheese - 80 calories or if you really like cheese, add two - 160 calories.
Add 1 serving of the lowest fat, lowest calorie, lowest sodium dressing of choice - 45 to 90 calories.
Add one-half of that package of chicken breast strips (I really like the Southwestern seasoned) for 110 calories.
Optional and not pictured, but if you really like spicy, add a heaping tablespoon of Salsa or Picante sauce right in the middle - it only adds about 15 - 25 calories.
Now, three or six of those really tasty Milton’s Craft Bakers Multi-grain Crackers - 70 to 140 calories.
Total calories: 320 if you only use 1 cheese, 1 serving dressing and 3 crackers. 515 if you use 2 slices of cheese, double the dressing and six crackers. Add another 25 for the optional salsa.
Here’s a tip that helps me, as you add each ingredient, seal THAT package and put it back in the fridge...add the next ingredient, then seal THAT package and put it back in the fridge, etc. That way you will not be adding additional servings and calories. When I get to the crackers, I pull out my six (no way I can only eat three) and then I literally TAPE the box closed. Yes, they are that good.
If you’re SuperMom or Superdad or the Suzie Homemaker type, you can clean and shred your own salad greens, buy the more expensive shredded cheese, broil your own chicken breast and even make your own salad dressing...but none of that is going to happen here. LOL.
Try this quick and easy, low calorie salad on one of you Shake Days, I think you’ll enjoy it. - Coach Kevin
